Over the past year, 20 of our Year 12 students have been actively involved in Young Enterprise, a programme that equips them with essential business skills and confidence. Through this experience, they have developed their leadership, communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities.

Last week, nine members of the ‘Confetti Club’ team participated in the district final at Bablake School. They competed against other teams in the area in both an interview with the judges and a presentation showcasing their product, known as ‘Party in a Box’. The presentation, delivered by Charlotte (Managing Director), Poppy (Co-Operations Director), and Sara (Co-Operations Director), provided a comprehensive overview of the product’s development process, production decisions, and the lessons learned.

Both the interview and presentation were highly successful, leaving a lasting impression on the judges. Consequently, our company was awarded the ‘Best Teamwork’ award. The entire team enjoyed the experience immensely, and it was gratifying to witness the tangible results of their hard work.
