On 8th May, the A'Level Drama and Theatre Studies students performed their scripted pieces to the visiting examiner and a live audience. The evening was an exceptional showcase of their talent, and of the skills they have acquired over the past two years of their A'level course. The performances included a range of challenging texts, which students performed in the style of various practitioners, including Artaud and Stanislavski, and for the set of the final piece of the night (an extract from 4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane), Mr Shelton even built a pool in the studio! Well done to all of the Y13 students involved, and best of luck for your written exam paper!
