Case for Support

Taking our values forward

Responsibility, resilience, reflection, reasoning and resourcefulness; these are the values that underscore our promise to all pupils.  As a school firmly rooted in its community, these values have also bolstered our reputation for providing excellent, sustainable education. Every year we achieve academic results that confidently exceed the national averages with at least 75% of sixth formers going on to take up university offers. Taking these values forward and nurturing academic strength within a context which seeks to motivate all pupils, whatever their individual needs, is at the very heart of our vision for the new school.

Investing in futures

The new School will give us an expanded campus, serving 2,200 students with the latest learning resources, classroom technology, arts facilities and 33 acres of sports pitches. It also means we can share these superb facilities with a wide variety of local groups both in and out of term time.

It’s exciting to watch the new build take shape. It’s also important to recognise that whilst contractors are on site, we have an opportunity to go beyond the brief and include a suite of extra benefits for pupils, staff and the local community. With your help, we are looking to raise £2.5m in philanthropic funding that will enable us to transform an excellent school into a truly extraordinary one.

We’d love you to join us in meeting this fundraising challenge. Together, we can create a school that supports the wonderful diversity of our young people and provides Kenilworth with a facility that we can all be proud of.

Why Do We Need to Fundraise?

As an Academy our annual operating costs are funded through central government. Funding just about covers our basic operating costs as a result of efficient financial management. If we want to invest in our buildings and technology, or to continue to enrich the curriculum, we have to look for additional outside sources to help, either through grants, community fundraising or individual giving.
