On Tuesday 17th June, 48 students from our Musical Theatre Club took part in a fantastic workshop at the Warwick Arts Centre. The event, organised by the Heart of England Music Hub and funded by the Arts Council, brought together over 500 pupils from schools across Warwickshire, Coventry, and Solihull.

Our students threw themselves into the day, learning a challenging medley from Wicked in three-part harmony, and thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to sing alongside such a large and talented group. 

Break times were full of energy and sunshine, with our students representing the school beautifully, and even managing a bit of impromptu dancing outdoors!

The day culminated in a powerful ensemble performance that filled the auditorium with an incredible sound. A huge thank you to all the students for their fantastic participation, to Ffion Pugh (Y12) for all of her enthusiasm and leadership, and to the staff who accompanied the trip: Mr Shelton, Mrs Meilak, and Mr Holland, who all sang with gusto. A truly memorable day for everyone involved!
