The Duke of Edinburgh Award

This has been a very successful year.110 Year 10 students are completing the Bronze Award with expeditions in the Cotswolds. Year 11 students took part in the Silver Assessment on Exmoor, and Sixth Form Students canoed along the Great Glen in the North of Scotland The pictures below show the Silver an Bronze expeditions

Gold Expedition July 2007  
In early July 24 students from years 12 and 13 completed their canoe expediion along the Great Glen from Fort William to Inverness

Gold Canoe Practice on the Wye  
Four groups of Sixth Formers recently completed their practice expedition for the Gold Award, canoeing down the River Wye. This was a very successful expedition in excellent weather conditions as the pictures show. We are all looking forward to the asseessed expedition in July, which wil take place on the Great Glen in scotland
