Welcome to the Science Department

Science holds a unique place in the curriculum by providing students with a wide and varied body of knowledge supported by experimental and investigative work. Our aim is to inspire students with a love of science and a curiosity about phenomena and events in the world around them.

The information given in these pages gives a flavour of the material covered from KS3 to KS5 and if you have any question or queries about any aspect of the faculty, the staff listed below will be pleased to help.

At GCSE, the majority of students follow the AQA Double Award specification at Foundation Level(G – C) or Higher Level (D-A*) achieving two grades at GCSE.
