to Castle Sixth Form
Castle
Sixth Form Centre is a large, self-contained campus about a mile and a
half away from the main Kenilworth School site on Leyes Lane. There are
about 350 students at Castle, making it one of the largest sixth forms
in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. Castle is a real community with
its own distinctive ethos and atmosphere. It enjoys the advantage of being
on its own site and this helps to foster a more adult environment. |
We have our own library, ICT facilities, science laboratories, drama studio,
art studio, language laboratory, music and music technology building,
design areas, a large student common room and dining area, gymnasium and
playing fields, and we are well-equipped for all the subjects that we
teach. We aim to offer a high quality education to students at a crucial
period in their lives. We have an enviable examination record and the
vast majority of our students go on to take up places at university, while
others go directly into employment.
Although
most of our students come to us through Kenilworth School, a significant
number come from other schools across Coventry and Warwickshire as well
as some from Japan through links with schools there. These students come
to us because we can offer a wide range of choice, a friendly atmosphere,
very high quality teaching and a sound preparation for higher education
or employment.
