What
can I do with this qualification?
Employers today are increasingly looking for language based qualifications.
Modern Linguists can look to Europe for many exciting employment
opportunities. As well as specialist language courses, many universities
offer language modules alongside a huge variety of subjects. These
include Engineering, Law, Business Studies, Science, Sociology etc.
Are there
any specific entry requirements?
In addition to the Castle requirement of five GCSEs it would be
advisable to have at least a B at GCSE. Ideally you will have taken
Higher Level papers, including Higher Level Writing. If you have
done coursework you should have gained at least A/B.
This may be subject
to some change as it is based on draft specifications from the exam
board.
